Severe winds, snowstorms, and torrential rains… As temperatures get colder, many families’ needs grow. During the winter, the situation for people who live in tents that are exposed to wind and cold and have leaking roofs significantly worsens.

Why Are Winter Aids Necessary?

Several families in our nation struggle financially and are unable to get ready for the winter. Some households have their electricity cut off because they are unable to pay their bills, and others have cold winters because they lack a stove or coal. Many homes in our country need our help.

We learned on our visits to some of the camps that women and infants had died the previous year as a result of winter help arriving either late or not at all. If the winter aid had arrived on time, many losses and illnesses might have been avoided. Winter help is crucial in many places of the world because of this.

What Are We Doing?

As the Umuda Koşanlar Association, we assist refugees living in camps as well as families in need in our country by giving them stoves, blankets, and fuel. We are providing thousands of kids with coats, boots, beanies, and gloves in order to get them ready for winter. With our food packages, we make the stoves smoke. Through our love, we keep thousands of our brothers and sisters warm each winter.
